The CIA Democrats in the 2020 Elections

The Most Revolutionary Act

By Patrick Martin

In the course of the 2018 elections, a large group of former military-intelligence operatives entered capitalist politics as candidates seeking the Democratic Party nomination in 50 congressional seats—nearly half the seats where the Democrats were targeting Republican incumbents or open seats created by Republican retirements.

Some 30 of these candidates won primary contests and became the Democratic candidates in the November 2018 election, and 11 of them won the general election, more than one-quarter of the 40 previously Republican-held seats captured by the Democrats as they took control of the House of Representatives.

In 2020, the intervention of the CIA Democrats continues on what is arguably an equally significant scale: besides the reelection campaigns of the 11 representatives who won seats in the House in 2018, half a dozen of those who…

Tim Schwab: Bill &Melinda Gates Are Buying Favorable Coverage in the Media

Diane Ravitch's blog

It’s rare indeed to read a critical article about how Bill & Melinda Gates use their vast wealth to burnish their image as the greatest benefactors of all time. This article by freelance journalist Tim Schwab, published in the Columbia Journalism Review, documents how the Gates have purchased a larger-than-life portrayal of themselves by strategic investments in the media.

With rare exceptions, the Gates’s have subsidized publications likely to write about them and guaranteed that they would be portrayed favorably. By doing so, they have undermined freedom of the press while assuring favorable treatment for themselves.

Schwab writes:

LAST AUGUST, NPR PROFILED A HARVARD-LED EXPERIMENT to help low-income families find housing in wealthier neighborhoods, giving their children access to better schools and an opportunity to “break the cycle of poverty.” According to researchers cited in the article, these children could see $183,000 greater earnings over their lifetimes—a striking forecast for…

Covid-19 vaccine: China’s been vaccinating doctors and border workers since July

The Muslim Times

Source: CNN

By Amy Woodyatt, CNN

China has been using an experimental coronavirus vaccine on people who work in “high risk” professions since July, including front line medical professionals and border inspectors, a senior official from the national health commission revealed over the weekend.

Zheng Zhongwei, director of the Science and Technology Development Center of the National Health Commission, said the vaccine had been approved for use on July 22 during an interview with a Chinese state media broadcaster on Saturday.

Zheng told the CCTV-2 program “Dialogue” that the people who were at high risk of exposure to the virus — including frontline medical personnel, epidemic prevention personnel, medical staff at fever clinics, and customs and border personnel — were eligible to receive the vaccine.

The vaccine was developed by Sinopharm’s China National Biotec Group Company (CNBG). Phase 3 clinical trials of this vaccine have been conducted in the UAE…

Researchers say a 33-year-old Hong Kong man is the first person confirmed to have Covid-19 twice

In this day and age, understanding bacteria and viruses and developing vaccines are national security issues. In my view sizable part of every country’s defense budget should be spent in these pursuits rather than making tanks and other weapons.

Postal Workers Defy Order Not to Restart Sorting Machines

The Most Revolutionary Act

Don’t reconnect mailing machines, Postal Service tells plants. Tacoma does it anyway

By John Ryan

An order from U.S. Postal Service headquarters hasn’t stopped some mail-processing plants in Washington state from hooking up their high-speed letter-sorting machines again.

Despite a national order not to reinstall letter-sorting machines that had been dismantled over the past month, the Postal Service plants in Tacoma and Wenatchee have done just that, according to workers there.

Forty percent of the letter-sorting machines in the Seattle-Tacoma area had been disconnected by Tuesday, when the Postal Service announced a halt to a nationwide machinery purge until after the November election.

“I have seen a lot of machinery that has been taken out,” Postal Service truck driver Bob Bockman of Tacoma said.

The Tacoma plant lost eight of its 18 machines that sort and postmark the mail, according to workers there. The equipment was disconnected and pushed…

A Zoom Video Communications Inc. outage Monday ground some work meetings and online learning to a halt on the first day of class for many U.S. students, highlighting the vulnerabilities of virtual school during the coronavirus pandemic.

Webinars and other online meetings were disrupted or inaccessible until around 1 p.m. in New York, the San Jose, California-based company said in a tweet. Users also couldn’t sign up for paid accounts, upgrade or manage their service on Zoom’s website. The software maker didn’t disclose the cause of the technical difficulties.

Zoom’s downtime demonstrates how the stakes of technology glitches have changed during the Covid-19 pandemic, when people have to remain home to reduce the spread of the virus. In the past, occasional outages might have prevented people from updating their…

Coronavirus vaccine: Australia rules out mandatory immunisations

The Muslim Times

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has back-tracked after suggesting vaccinations against the coronavirus could become mandatory.

Announcing a deal that could provide free doses to Australia’s entire population, Mr Morrison had said there should only be medical exemptions.

But after concerns raised by health experts, he clarified: “There are no compulsory vaccines in Australia.”
Meanwhile, visitors to Australia may also be required to have immunisation.

Health Minister Greg Hunt said he “wouldn’t rule out” making it mandatory for anyone travelling to Australia – including Australians returning to the country – if that was the advice from medical experts.

“It would seem passing strange if we had a massive vaccination programme in Australia but we were then to allow…

FEAR FACTOR: ‘Save Yourself’, Stop Believing In Lockdown – By Stacey Rudin

Save Yourself: Stop Believing In Lockdown – By Stacey Rudin

Storied minds have argued that a failure to critically examine our beliefs makes us culpable for adverse outcomes. Beliefs lead to actions, which impact other people.

As Voltaire wrote during the Enlightenment – when society still had time away from the screen to reflect on philosophy, morality, and fundamental truth – “those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities.”

his has never been more true than in the age of social media, when information and opinions constantly bombard us from all sides, isolating us from our own thoughts and values. We have a moral duty…

COUP D’ETAT: ‘The Storm Is Here’, Pelosi Prepares to Be Appointed President

Source –

“…Biden will declare victory regardless of the outcome. It corroborates Pelosi’s interview which reveals that that the DNC plans to hold a parallel presidential inauguration – not for Joe Biden, but for herself – as “2nd in line”. By not conceding, a door is opened for Pelosi’s move. Pelosi explains that even if Trump does not vacate the White House – that is, even if he maintains that he is the president after the election as a legal contest ensues – that the presidency is an institution and not a geographic location”

A plan is underway to install Nancy Pelosi as president. It is not the only plan, but this plan will be worked towards its logical conclusion, whether or not its utility concludes prior to…

Governments Are Faking It, and Copying Each Other, by Jeffrey A. Tucker

Don’t ever mistake bureaucrats and politicians as smart or knowledgeable people about anything important. From Jeffrey A. Tucker at

A mystery for months is how it is that so many governments in so many different places on earth could have adopted the same or very similar preposterous policies, no matter the threat level of the virus, and without firm evidence that interventions had any hope of being effective.

In the course of two weeks, traditional freedoms were zapped away in nearly all developed countries. In a seriously bizarre twist, even the silliest policies replicated themselves like a virus in country after country.

For example, you can’t try on clothing in a store in Texas or in Melbourne, or in London or in Kalamazoo. What’s with that? We know that the COVID bug is least likely to live on fabrics unless I have symptoms of it, sneeze on my…

Pope John Paul II and Me: ‘Truth Cannot Contradict Truth?’

The Muslim Times

Pope John Paul Pope John Paul II

Written and collected by Zia H Shah MD, Chief Editor of the Muslim Times

This article is a summary of the address of Pope John Paul II to the Pontifical Academy of Sciences (October 22, 1996), as presented by the official Catholic website and my commentary.

After more than a century of struggle with the theory of evolution, as presented by Charles Darwin, the Pope was yielding to the truth contained in the theory.

I believe that the theory of evolution should be understood as three different issues. Firstly, the common ancestry of all animals and plants, secondly, the mechanisms for evolution and thirdly whether evolution is completely blind or guided in some sense. The truth of some facts in evolution does not imply the truth of every thing under the umbrella of evolution. The common ancestry of all animals and plants on our…
